The Audio Guest Book is a growing option at weddings, graduations, reunions and corporate events.
It has a few different names and has been branded with a few names as well. Audio Guest Book, Audio Guestbook, After the Tone, At the Beep or a Fete Fone…
Regardless of the name, the Audio Guest Book has one particular purpose and that is to collect audio messages from the guests at your event {or as a way to collect testimonials at a corporate event}. The finished files are spruced up into shareable mp4 files and can even be placed on a customized Vinyl Record Keepsake.
The cost of the rental is based on your phone selection. Most phones rent for $299.
Your rental includes:
- Specially modified retro-styled phone
- Battery pack
- Signage to place near the phone
- Instructions for recording your personalized greeting
- All audio messages as individual voicemails (phone must be hung up between messages)
- Shareable mp4 video files customized with your photo as the background
- Gallery to download your files
You will want the Audio Guest Book in a place with plenty of foot traffic and visibility. Avoid putting it where there will be loud background noise (such as by the dance floor or next to the DJ’s speakers)
You may also consider having the DJ make an announcement during your event to remind your guests to leave you voice messages.
Please provide the high resolution image you would like us to use as the background of your mp4s. Keep in mind that the photo will be cropped to a square shape and the visible audio waveform will go through the center (horizontal) portion of the photo.
It is okay to wait until after the event to provide the photo so that you can select one that was taken during the event itself.
We will send you an email reminding you to send the image. Once we have received your photo, you can expect your completed mp4 files within 7-10 days.
We will deliver and set up your Audio Guest Book if your event is within Lincoln & St. Charles Counties. The remainder of the St. Louis area may have a small mileage fee, depending on your actual location.
We can also ship the phone to you along with a pre-paid return label. You will receive your phone at least 2 days prior to your event. We ask that you return the phone to us within 2 days of your event. (A shipping fee will be charged)
Once the event is done, we know you’ll be anxious to hear all of your messages. Send us your background photo right away! Once we have the photo, we’ll convert your audio clips into individual messages and will create your shareable mp4 files.
We will place all of your files into a gallery and will share the link with you. You will receive this link approximately 7-10 days after we receive your photo.
If you ordered the Custom Vinyl Record Keepsake, it is a separate process and will take approximately 3-4 weeks (plus shipping time).
The Custom Vinyl Record Keepsake is $220 and includes the jacket design and ground shipping.
The Custom Vinyl Record Keepsake includes:
- 12″ Vinyl Record with up to 40 minutes of audio (20 minutes per side)
- Personalized Record Jacket using your provided image
- Inside Dust Cover
